■Item Descriptions■
This item was selected and purchased at an antique market in Japan.
This is one of the “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo, titled “Komagatadou Azumabashi(Komagata Hall and Azumabashi Bridge)”, depicting a famous spot in Edo (present-day Tokyo) during the Edo period.
A lone cuckoo flies in the morning sky during the rainy season over the Sumida River in Asakusa.
In the foreground on the left is Komagata Hall, half of a building, and above the roof of the hall is a small depiction of Azumabashi Bridge.
The arrangement of the bird and the red flag sign of the daily necessities store "Beni-ya" creates an impressive design.
Please note that this is a used item, so there may be visible wear.
Thank you for your understanding.
